A restful vacation at the Bee Farm Bohol

One of the places we have managed to visit in our trip to Bohol was the famous Bee Farm managed by Filipina restauranteur Vicky Wallace. Here, they sell organically produced products, from native hats, to decorative materials, to bags and offers food choices that are purely grown locally and using organic farming technique.

It is in this farm that I was able to taste firsthand what a 'tanglad' tea is (that is a pure concoction of a household tanglad and served as tea, -gikabuhi hinuon ko!). This is also where I was able to eat fresh flower salad that is, rose petals and gumamela petals with salad dressing that is made of freshly mixed herbs. It's a relief but i still manage to devour a good servings of honeyed chicken with sissame seeds. Also, all their hot beverages uses only honey as sweetener.

The farm is a well-apportioned area of land near the sea of Bohol. Actually, the resort is atop a cliff that overseas the sea. Like any other resort, it has an outdoor spa and the sea breeze will greet you and your partner during and after the relaxing massage.

What strikes me the most is the native product that they sell at the resort and it is the 'rainmaker'. It's the best Filipino-made musical instrument that produces the sound of rain every time you till it down and doing it repeatedly all over again.

My journey to Bohol ends here. This is where we last seen the beauty of Bohol because after this, we went home to Cebu and catch our flight back home.
