At the Sultan Omar Ali Saiffudien Mosque

This majestic mosque is the famous and most popular destination among tourists and new visitors to Negara Brunei Darussalam. This is the mosque named after the late father of the present Sultan of this tiny yet rich sultanate.

One this I appreciated about this majestic structure is its seeming perfect location and unassuming presence although, you can take the best vantage point from the street off the mosque at the opposite side.

In this particular visit, the mosque is under repair and the golden dome is being cleaned. We are very much enjoying our brief tour of this great and imposing landmark in Brunei.
