The greatness of national memorial in Kuala Lumpur

This memorial in downtown Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia best highlights the high regard they placed on the Malaysian soldiers who fought for freedom during the second world war, the days of the emergency and first world war. The monument stands proud amidst the history of valiant, bravery and integrity of the Malaysian soldiers who had fallen in battle.

In particular, I am awed at their growing relevance to national life as well as to the shaping of the modern-day Malaysia. They have looked at the future but resolutely learn from the past. Their majestic and honorable past symbolizes their zeal to move on into the 21st century.

I am happy to be hear and the one who made this majestic statue is the one who designed the Empire State Building (according to our guide from IIUM).
