Come with me

Come with me to the sky,
When all of life is mundane, chaotic and of tribulation
Into the sky where there is nothing but beauteous clouds abound.
Come with me oh sweet.
Come to me in silent mist

As the dusk opens to dawn
And dawn to day,
We faced, broke down, melted, pilloried with trials and petty things
We worry, yes, we worry
For life is full of it every way

Come with me to far-away lands,
Make yourself of your command.
Where time stood still and people are free
Gaily dancing, singing, seeing, welcoming
To such embrace life should be

The heart of the world is man
And man to the world hurt
We destroy, poison, maim, kill, torture and become vultures

Come with me to my land
Where men and women are carefree as the sea
Where each tide tossed but went passed easily by
Where sands of gold are at their hand bids bye
Where we see the sea
Of gladness, greatness, happy and free.
