Cagape’s Doctoral dissertation accepted for presentation by the Universiti Putra Malaysia


The Universiti Putra Malaysia announced on February 10, 2009 that the doctoral dissertation of Dr. Wendell Glenn Cagape, PhD entitled, “Human Safety in the Basic Education Classrooms in Zamboanga Peninsula: Basis for a Model of Integrating Ergonomics in the Classrooms” to be presented at the 1st International Conference on Educational Research and Practice to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The 1st International Conference on Educational Research and Practice will be held in Putrajaya, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on June 10-11, 2009 and its theme is ‘Enhancing Human Capital Through Teacher Education’.

The Faculty of Educational Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia is organizing an international conference on educational research and practice for school teachers, post-graduate students and academics in tertiary institutions. This biennial conference serves as a platform for knowledge sharing, professional interaction and networking among scholars and practitioners in the field of education from all over the world. In line with this, participants and paper contributors are cordially invited to participate in the conference.

The announcement came through an email notification by Prof. Dr. Maimunah Ismail which was received by Dr. Cagape on February 20, 2009.

In 2008, Dr. Cagape presented his doctoral researches in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in March 2008 at the 1st International Language Conference hosted by the International Islamic University Malaysia and at the 13th International Conference on Education in Brunei Darussalam hosted by the Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

Presently, Dr. Cagape is the College/Board Secretary V of the JH Cerilles State College and serves as the Regional Training Director for Western Mindanao of the JCI-Philippines. He obtained his MA in Foreign Service from the esteemed Lyceum of the Philippines University and his BS in Business Administration from the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology.
